No doubt there are amazing places all over the world worth traveling to but for those in a wheelchair, choosing a travel destination takes research and planning. Many countries are making accessibility related adaptations to their infrastructures; however others make completely independent travel difficult. If you talk to other disabled travelers, there are plenty of accessible destinations to enjoy, and immerse yourself in the local culture and lifestyle.
