Decorating for the holidays used to be a nightmare for me, but now that I am organized it is a breeze. I keep all my christmas decorations in one spot,well marked, for I have so much of it I need to only use certain ones one year, and others the next, and so on. I go with one theme each year, so that every year is always different, and I often discover I have forgotten about some of it, so its a delight to re-discover some old favorites! Halloween is always a big favorite. The kids enjoy coming every year and seeing what new things we have out to sare them with!

We have a virtual haunted house that changes each year as well. The old man sitting in the chair on the front porch who holds the pumpkin, and appears to be fake, but NOT!! He jumps out at you. They delight in not knowing which is real and which is not. It’s a lot of work but we enjoy it, and the yard continues to grow each year, as does the electric bill. Half the fun is getting out the stuff and thinking about how to set it up for that maximum effect.
