Mining Gold: Most Common Placer Mining Methods »

Placer refers to a sandbank of soil (alluvial) deposit that contains various particles of different precious metals. These types of sandbanks are usually comprised of something known as “detrital” material, including soil and gravel mixes.

Placer gold is gold that has been formed as rocks and soil are moved through stream beds by various geological events, such as earthquakes, landslides or glacial movement. Gold that is formed in lodes will erode from its natural source over time and become equally distributed among rocks and soil. This is referred to as a secondary deposit of precious metal.

Myanmar

Mining of alluvial deposits for gold or other types of precious metals, such as silver, is referred to by the term, “placer mining.” This type of mining is done using a variety of techniques for tunneling into the ground and riverbeds and retrieving the deposits. For example, open cast mining happens when an open pit is created. Another type of placer mining is hydraulic mining, in which high water pressure is used to dig into the deposits and retrieve the gold.

Top Reasons Why Men Like Asian Women »

The attractiveness of Asian girls is undeniable. Long silky hair, smooth skin, slim, petite bodies and that graceful feminine way they walk. Where western women have come to take long, determined strides in an almost masculine manner, Asian girls move in that slow, sensual way that makes men’s head turn.

I’m sure you know what I am on about.

Travel Asia

And of course, there’s that exotic sense of shy innocence that makes us want to know more. To see what she will be like when you are alone with her. Is there a hidden wild sexual side that is waiting to be unleashed?

If you dared to profess this preference for a western woman, she’d probably respond with a scorn and call you a ‘chauvinist’ or ‘pig’. She will probably mistakenly assume that your attraction to Asian women is a fantasy about having a submissive slave who will wait on your command. Many western women don’t seem to understand that doing something for your partner because you care about them isn’t the same as being ‘weak’.

The Blue-Green Semi-Precious Stone – Turquoise »

Turquoise is essentially an opaque semi-precious stone that come in a wide range of color – from intensely greenish blue to the paler sky blue. Chemically speaking, it is a hydrous phosphate made from copper and aluminium. It is relatively rare and valuable in the finer grades. Also, it has been prized as a beautiful gemstone and as an ornamental stone for many, many years, because of its striking hue. During more recent times and similar to the other opaque gemstones, turquoise has been devalued little by little because of the introduction of imitations, artificial treatments and synthetics in the market, and there are even some that are very hard to detect, not even by experts.
