Traveling on Your Family Vacation…Patience is a Virtue!

Are You Up For The Challenge ?

Here it comes …You’re On Your Way for Family Travel……

The Whining & Complaining….The Fighting between Siblings…
All within the confines of your car !

When traveling with children, you have to expect them to get
restless and whiny in the car. Even Adults get restless while
traveling. Lets hope there is no fighting, but that certainly can happen…

Rise to the Challenge and… Don’t Lose Your Patience !

Always make sure you have some new ideas for family travel.
Maybe your family mini van has a monitor to play DVDs or videos
If so, surprise your kids with a new movie as you are traveling.
Hold off for at least 2 or 3 hours before presenting it to
them.

Plan wisely…allow enough time for traveling…Don’t try to
overdue it and rush to your destination the first day.
If you are traveling a good distance, break it into 2 or 3 days.
If you see something that interest your family,
take that exit and enjoy the adventure. Remember these family
vacations are memory makers !

Stay Over Night on your route…the kids will love it…Choose a
“family friendly” hotel with a pool for the kids and a hot tub for
Mom and Dad. Now that’s a great way to relax. Many of the
hotels are offering suites,so Mom and Dad could have their own
space…getting to your destination so fast doesn’t seem so
important now does it ?

When choosing a hotel for your stop over, reserve one
that also offers a “Free” continental breakfast…GREAT for the
kids and great for Mom and Dads wallets !

Here are some “family friendly” hotels that you may want to
check out “Holiday Inn Express”, “Sleep Inn Hotel & Suites”,
“Comfort Inn & Suites”and “Amerisuites”.

Remember Enjoy the Ride and the Adventure !
